Eliot Festival Day, Eliot, ME
Eliot Festival Day is a community event featuring the Eliot Festival Day 5K Road Race in the morning and the Donut and Pie Eatin’ Contests in the afternoon. Along with crafts, food, products, and informational booths we have a Farmer’s Market for area agriculture, a Colonial Re-enactment camp, a PARADE for one and all, Kids’ Fun Run, live music, Dancing DJ Carmen and more!
Held the last Saturday in September — this year that is September 26, 2026– right by the gazebo on State Road.

Welcome and come all to the Button Factory Open Studios, the largest, longest running and most eagerly attended holiday arts and crafts exhibit in the Greater Seacoast area.
Once a year, the Button Factory Studios invites the community in to meet local artists and craftsmen. These creators have earned prominence in the fields of painting, photography, printmaking, jewelry, fiber arts, floor cloths, pottery, sculpture, stained glass, handcrafted furniture, custom framing and more. Art lovers are free to discover our newest creative works, perfect for gift giving.
The Friday Preview showcases Button Factory tenants only. On Saturday and Sunday visiting guest artists will be hosted inside some studios.

The Rollinsford Farmers’ Market takes place in the beautiful Wentworth Greenhouses. This market has been one of our most recognizable and one of the biggest markets in the Seacoast since 2010. Enjoy the warm air of the greenhouse and browse a wide variety of houseplants during the cold winter months before entering the market area. Once you step into the farmers’ market area you’ll be amazed at the variety of locally grown and produced food. Enjoy a warm breakfast or coffee while shopping. You’ll hear some wonderful live music from local musicians while you’re here.

Harvestfest always takes place on the weekend after Columbus Day.
Harvestfest is a smoke-free event.
For everyone’s safety & comfort – Dogs or pets of any kind are NOT permitted at Harvestfest.
Public Parking for Harvestfest is at York’s Wild Animal Kingdom. The parking meters at the beach are free during Harvestfest.
Handicap Parking is available in a designated area at York's Wild Kingdom with trolley shuttle to the event.
Solicitation of any kind is prohibited within the grounds of Harvestfest & Kidsfest. Religious Groups / Political Candidates / Parties / Groups promoting a cause of any type must purchase a booth space located in the Esplanade area.
Eliot Festival Day
Backyard Garlic moved to Eliot, Maine in 2021. It was a great move! Our neighbors have helped plant, harvest and peel garlic. And now we get to spend the day visiting with them all!
